We started off with a bottle of honey wine.
One of the staff (the owner?) explained how Ethiopean food works, including how they make the bread called injera. The flour comes from a type of wheat called Teff as shown below.
Looks like Bob's Red Mill makes it so you can try to make your own injera. A piece of injera is shown below.
We ordered a combo veggie, plus 3 meat dishes - Ye Doro Tibs (chicken), Ye-Beg Tibs (lamb), and Alicha Wot (beef stew). There was also a chickpea puree which I think was called Shuro Wot.
